What does it feel like to work in a self-managing and self-governing organisation? How do decisions get made? How does money work? How do we set strategy and make policies? This four-hour workshop will immerse you in the digital and cultural technologies Enspiral has developed to make collaboration work.
The workshop will begin with a short presentation to give context and then you’ll be taken through a group deliberation process to collectively decide what topics we’ll cover in the rest of the workshop time.
Topics on the menu include :
+ Consensus-based decision-making – the realities of operating an organisation with the ethic of everyone having the opportunity to participate in decisions that affect them.
+ Collective prioritisation – building culture and broadly-held strategic oversight through inclusive processes for strategy-setting.
+ Creating an internal economy – using voluntary contributions and collaborative budgetting to effectively distribute organisational innovation.
+ Rehumanising work – creating a culture where people can show up with their full selves and where feelings are valued.
Participants will leave with practical know-how they can take back to their organisation or fledgling group. We’ll leave lots of space for questions as we go.
